Frequently asked questions

Which Alpha Pokémon unlock Sky Drop in Cobblemon?

22 Pokémon species can unlock the Sky Drop TM when caught as an Alpha, because Sky Drop is on their TM learnset. Alphas roll two random TM moves, so catching one of these species as an Alpha can unlock the recipe.

How do you craft the Sky Drop TM?

After unlocking Sky Drop, craft it at the TM Machine with: 4× Flying Gem.

How do Alpha Pokémon unlock TMs in Cobblemon?

In Cobblemon 1.8, Alpha Pokémon spawn with 2 random TM-learnable moves from their species learnset. When you obtain an Alpha that knows a TM-compatible move, that TM recipe unlocks for the TM Machine.

Do Alpha Pokémon drop TM items?

No. Alphas do not drop fixed TM items. They know random TM moves from their learnset, and catching (or otherwise obtaining) one that knows a move unlocks the craftable TM recipe.
